T-Mobile or AT&T for your business?

There is no single winner. Which one is right depends on how fast you need a site live, how much bandwidth it needs, and whether your people work where there is coverage. Here is the honest version, with the pricing next to it.

The short answer

T-Mobile usually wins where you need a site working quickly without construction. Self-setup 5G gateways, no build window, and satellite coverage for people working past the last tower.

AT&T usually wins where the site is permanent and needs real bandwidth, because it can put fiber into the building in tiers up to 5 GIG and keep the wireless on the same bill.

On price, T-Mobile is currently the cheaper way in. CoreMobile is $21 a line at six lines and does not require you to buy a device. AT&T advertises $25 a line on four or more, but that rate depends on a $15 a month online-only credit tied to a thirty-six month smartphone installment — a longer commitment than the headline suggests.

You do not have to choose only one

Plenty of businesses run both on purpose. A common design is fiber from one carrier as the main connection with 5G fixed wireless from the other as automatic failover, so one carrier having a bad day does not stop the site trading.

T-Mobile SuperBroadband does the same job on a single bill — 5G as the primary link with unlimited Starlink satellite behind it, from $250 a month a site on a three-year term.

How to settle it in a day

Comparing two rate cards on a website will not tell you what you would actually pay, because neither number accounts for your line count, your devices or what you already have.

Send us a photo or a PDF of your current bill and we will price the same setup on both carriers and send you both numbers inside one business day. If you are already on the better of the two, we will tell you that.
